WORDPERFECT FILE CONVERTER (WPD CONVERTER) END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Green 18 Enterprises converter products This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “Licensee”) and Green 18 Enterprises (“Licensor”) for the desktop software product identified at checkout or in the installer (“Software”), including any related documentation and optional add-ons you purchase. The Software covered by this Agreement is WPD Converter. By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. 1. License grant Subject to this Agreement and payment of applicable fees, Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software as follows: (a) Personal license. If you purchased a Personal license (or a trial of a Personal license), you may use the Software for your individual, non-commercial purposes on one (1) computer at a time. (b) Commercial license. If you purchased a Commercial license, you may use the Software for business, organizational, professional, or other commercial purposes on one (1) computer at a time, unless your purchase confirmation states a different seat count. (c) Which license you have. Your permitted use is determined by the license type selected and paid for at checkout (or stated on your receipt or purchase confirmation), not by marketing labels elsewhere. (d) Trial. During an unpaid trial, use is limited to evaluation under the trial terms shown in the Software or on the product website, including any file-count or time limits. For this product, unpaid trial use is limited as shown in the Software or on the product website (including any file-count limits). 2. Standard and Plus (a) Standard. A Standard license unlocks the base converter features for that product. (b) Plus. A Plus license (or Conversion Library / Plus add-on) unlocks the additional features described at purchase (for example, Conversion Library). Plus requires a matching Standard license for the same product on the same computer. A Personal Plus purchase authorizes only Personal use of those features; a Commercial Plus purchase authorizes Commercial use. 3. Restrictions You may not: (i) sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Software except as Licensor expressly allows; (ii) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law; (iii) remove proprietary notices; (iv) use a Personal license for commercial purposes; or (v) circumvent license, activation, or trial limits. 4. Ownership The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, including intellectual property rights. Your converted output files remain yours. 5. Third-party components The Software may include third-party components (for example LibreOffice, ImageMagick, WebView2, or other libraries). Those components are governed by their own licenses, which are provided with the Software or on the product website. Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under those third-party licenses. Product-specific notice for WPD Converter: This Software uses LibreOffice components licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0) and the GNU Lesser General Public License v3 (LGPL v3). Updates Licensor may provide updates or new versions. Updates may be subject to this Agreement or additional terms presented at the time of update. 7. Support and refunds Support and refund practices are described on the applicable product website or in your purchase confirmation. Contact support@wpdconverter.com. 8. Disclaimer of warranties THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS; IN THAT CASE THOSE DISCLAIMERS APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 9. Limitation of liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. LICENSOR’S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. 10. Termination This license ends automatically if you breach this Agreement. You may terminate by uninstalling the Software and destroying copies. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimer, liability, and governing law) survive termination. 11. Governing law This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence requires otherwise. 12. Entire agreement This Agreement, together with your purchase confirmation and any product-specific notices shipped with the Software, is the entire agreement for the Software and supersedes prior proposals or communications on this subject.
