The preferred way to install WPD Converter is the offline Windows MSI from this site. That is the same installer promoted on the homepage download panel.

How to verify the publisher name

The offline MSI is Authenticode / code-signed by Green 18 Enterprises. Before installing, confirm Windows shows that publisher on the signed installer:

1. Right-click WPDConverter-6.3.0.msi → Properties
2. Open the Digital Signatures tab
3. Confirm the publisher name matches Green 18 Enterprises

If there is no Digital Signatures tab, or the name does not match, do not install — contact support instead.

Windows SmartScreen: "Windows protected your PC"

Even with an Authenticode-signed MSI, Windows may still show a SmartScreen warning on first download when the publisher or file has low reputation. That warning means Windows has not seen many installs of this file yet — it is a reputation check, not a malware verdict.

1. On the SmartScreen dialog, choose More info
2. Confirm the app name looks like WPD Converter / the MSI you expected
3. If you trust the source (prefer this site's MSI; the Microsoft Store listing is secondary), choose Run anyway

Prefer downloading the offline MSI from wpdconverter.com. The Microsoft Store listing is secondary and may lag — not third-party mirrors.

Checksums and VirusTotal

The SHA-256 below matches the official 6.3.0 MSI (WPDConverter-6.3.0.msi). The same hash is the one for this release. Compare it to the file you downloaded; do not rely on hashes from unofficial sites.

WPD Converter converts WordPerfect files on your computer. Document contents are not uploaded to our servers for conversion. That is the same privacy model described in our Privacy Policy.
