The preferred way to install WPD Converter is the offline Windows MSI from this site. That is the same installer promoted on the homepage download panel.

How to verify the publisher name

We do not claim the MSI is code-signed on this page. Check what Windows actually shows on the file you downloaded:

1. Right-click WPDConverter-6.1.1.msi → Properties
2. Open the Digital Signatures tab (if it is present)
3. Confirm the publisher name matches Green 18 Enterprises if a name is shown

If there is no Digital Signatures tab, or the name does not match, do not install — contact support instead.

Windows SmartScreen: "Windows protected your PC"

New or less-downloaded installers often trigger SmartScreen. That warning means Windows has not seen many installs of this file yet — it is not by itself a verdict that the file is malware.

1. On the SmartScreen dialog, choose More info
2. Confirm the app name looks like WPD Converter / the MSI you expected
3. If you trust the source (prefer this site's MSI; the Microsoft Store listing is secondary), choose Run anyway

Checksums and VirusTotal

The SHA-256 below matches the official 6.1.1 MSI (WPDConverter-6.1.1.msi). The same hash is published in the WinGet 6.1.1.0 manifest. Compare it to the file you downloaded; do not rely on hashes from unofficial sites.

Your files stay local

WPD Converter converts WordPerfect files on your computer. Document contents are not uploaded to our servers for conversion. That is the same privacy model described in our Privacy Policy.
