Convert DataPerfect Databases and WordPerfect Notebooks

WPD Converter still turns WordPerfect .wpd documents into DOCX, PDF, and the other formats you already use. Version 6.3.1 also opens two archives that usually stay stuck inside WordPerfect Office: DataPerfect databases and WordPerfect Notebooks.

Both stay on this Windows PC. There is no upload step.

DataPerfect

A DataPerfect database is a set of panels. On the main window, choose DataPerfect databases, then point at the .STR structure file or a folder of databases. Pick any combination of outputs:

• CSV — one file for each panel
• Excel — one workbook, with a worksheet for each panel
• SQLite — one database, with a table for each panel

Excel and Microsoft Access can import the SQLite file. Conversion Library opens the CSV, the workbook, and the SQLite database in the same place you already search converted documents.

WordPerfect Notebooks

Choose WordPerfect Notebooks and add a .NB file or a folder of them. Notebook 3.1 files and text-form secondary merge files are both read. The same three outputs are available: one CSV, one Excel workbook, or one SQLite database for the notebook.

Exporting a folder keeps the original folders. Two notebooks that share a file name, sitting in different folders, do not overwrite each other.

What to do with the files

CSV is the plain interchange file. Excel is the workbook people already open. SQLite is the portable database: one file, real tables, and a viewer already built into Conversion Library. Use whichever format the next tool expects, or keep all three.

Same installer

This is the current WPD Converter download, not a separate utility. The free trial covers the new conversions. A Standard license removes the trial limit. Files are converted locally, the same way .wpd documents already are.
